Sara Scott 

Sara Scott is a versatile vocalist, singer/songwriter, and musical storyteller. Her style is a reflection of extensive commercial and classical musical training, allowing her to bring something unique and honest to all listeners. Sara has been performing since the age of seven and has years of experience singing a variety of genres.

Sara has been a featured soloist in Schubert’s Mass in G with the Bloomsburg University Chamber Orchestra, Mozart’s Requiem with the Saint Boniface Choir & Orchestra, the Williamsport Chamber Choir and Orchestra’s Bernstein Celebration, Shostakovich’s Song Cycle, Op. 79 in dual Williamsport Symphony Orchestra Close-Up Concerts, the Lycoming College Choirs, and with the Lycoming College Community Orchestra, where she sang the role of Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana. Sara was selected through national auditions to participate in the 2018 OperaWorks Advanced Artist Program held in Los Angeles, California, where she performed in the debut of Opera Reconstructed at the California State University Northridge under the direction of Ann Baltz. Most recently, she opened for international award winning folk singer, Julie Fowlis, at the Weis Center of Performing Arts at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA.

Sara spent time living in Nashville, TN as a student at Belmont University’s Commercial Music program and then received her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Lycoming College in 2012 where she has been a voice faculty member since 2015, and also serves as the Department Coordinator. She is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) and has also served as an instructor at the Uptown Music Collective, the Community Theater League,

and the Community Academy of Stage and Theater in Williamsport, PA.
